3D Design Technician
Area of Specialization: Drawing Design
The successful candidate will carry out the following
tasks:
- Work with clients to develop custom-built
residential designs;
- Effectively translate a client's vision of their future
house into conceptual sketch drawings and then develop and
draft this design into a complete set of blueprints for construction;
- Provide detailed drawings for Architectural, Engineering
and Construction stages;
- Place and refine assembly of the timber frame;
- Create digital versions of floor plans;
- Model creations to building permit and construction state;
- Create 3-D models in Architectural Desktop;
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the department.
Additional Skills:
- To be able to assist in the shop with the layout and cutting
of timber frames would be an asset.
Other:
- Willingness to participate in an ongoing process
of acquiring skills and knowledge.
Specialty Woodworkers:
We are looking for Specialty Woodworkers
to participate in the growth and expansion of the woodworking
department in our company.
Woodworkers will have knowledge of
and experience in building custom stairs, windows, cabinets, and
furniture.
Approximately ninety percent of the
woodworker's time will be in the shop, with some travel to site for
installation.
Timber Framers:
We are looking for Timber Wrights
and Apprentice Timber Framers to participate in the growth and expansion
of our Timber Framing company.
We are looking for people eager to
work in and learn Timber Framing.
The person should be a team player
and be ready for a challenging and rewarding experience.
The candidates for these positions will possess
excellent people/management skills, great organization, and be
meticulous with details. They will be visionary and reliable.
