Two buildings were constructed side by side to form one dairy barn at this Amherst property. Both barns are 30ft wide and are available separately or together.
The larger barn was built between 1860 and 1870, with the second barn being constructed within about 20 years by the same owners. Originally used as a dairy barn, this piece of history is ideal for reconstruction as a cottage, studio
or as an addition to an existing building.
Made of Hemlock and Spruce, both buildings are in good condition and have sound wood. New roofs are required, which can be built to your specifications.
If you are interested in the barn/s but would like to explore the option of a different configuration, additional timber is available from a third barn removed from the property.
